What is the earliest you got your babies ears pierced? Where? Would you do it again if you could do it over? I’m having a baby girl and it’s common in my husbands culture to pierce them like ASAP, but I didn’t get mine done until I was like 8...it makes me anxious to think about.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

My sister had her baby’s ears pierced at 6 months and she never had any problems with it.

Please avoid piercing pagodas. They’re HORRIBLE for anyone’s ears, let alone a baby’s. I believe 3-4 months is when you can do them. Piercing guns also CANNOT be sanitized. I would highly recommend using a tattoo shop. Piercing guns cause blunt force trauma to the ear, where as a piercing needle goes straight though, cleanly.

For my first, She got her ears pierced when she was 5 months. We took her to Claire's
For my 2nd, her dad's aunt took her to the nail salon to get her ears pierced. She had just turned 1. I was mad because they didn't even ask me.

@roth1321, I got my daughter's done on her 2nd birthday and she did so good and yes I will do it all over again. My husband works at a tattoo shop and said that they can't pierce anyone under the age of 18 and they really don't do babies. I went to Clair's and they did a really good job they did them at the same time.

I wouldn’t get my baby’s ears pierced, I would wait until they were old enough to consent. Body autonomy is very important to me, both sides of our families do ear piercings as babies, I’m hoping to break that tradition.

Not hating on the moms who are all about the consent thing. But really legally federally whatever you’d like to call that you own that child until the age of 18. You’re suppose to make (certain) choices for them until they’re 18. So if you’re a mommy and think baby needs their ears pierced. Then by all means means. But if you don’t. That’s okay to. I just don’t like hearing that consent stuff. I mean if you’re letting your child consent to body modification what other big things will you let them consent to? Piercing ears is honestly an adults decision. Similar to should you put your young teenage daughter on birth control? Anyone understanding what I’m trying to say? I personally have not pierced my daughters ears because I just don’t want them to be in pain is all. I cry when they gets shots man..
