My cousins in one family wet the bed for years. It was a hereditary thing. Small bladders. She got married and still wet the bed. She was so ashamed. I used to stay the night with her growing up and I hated going to bed because she wet the bed every time so I started sleeping on the floor. Her brother outgrew it around the age of 12 but hers carried on until her adult life. Their dad wet the bed too as a child.

@sherrynygirl, I think my three year old is pretty darn smart and has been potty trained since she was two lol ....but I do think something is going on with them bc it’s not just bed wetting, the behavior and lack of remorse and overall just not caring about anyone but themselves hurting my daughter, saying hurtful things to me, trying to get my husband and I to fight...

@graciegrace2 Wow never heard of that and i have been a mom 22yrs of my life.My oldest was in the gifted program since kindergarten...and my middle son now takes some honor classes..They didn't ever had a pee issue* every seen the show hoarders*some of those people were nurses or other retired drs...and they hoarded..some kept their pee in bottles and their poop That Isn't Normal its a underlying mental issue as if they don't feel they deserve to be clean...

@jayw, lol yes please 🙌🏻 I try and play hard ball but they are good at working against me. My husband is at a loss too. He has yelled, he has talked, we have had family meetings, we have tried taking things away, we have tried making them write sentences, he has spanked nothing seems to work. They truly just don’t care.

@graciegrace2 i am a mom of 3 boys..so i have experience..its Not common for a child at age 12.5 to wet the bed or 8.5....That comes from fear and other issues they have going on...The father def needs to get more involved..even when my oldest 2 were little .wet bed maybe 2x each at 5yrs and under..they knew To take off the wets sheets ! Something deeper is going on w them...and yes your house YOUr rules they need to Respect you #1

@graciegrace2, omg that’s a terrible feeling. Hubby needs to put his foot down then. Somethings gotta be now or they will always be like that. I hate to say this but if they’re doing bad things to you and your baby girls, their butts wouldn’t be able to step foot in my house. That’s just disrespectful! I sure wish I could step in your shoes for a day lol! I don’t even have to spank my kids for respect, they just know.

@jayw, I wish, they don’t see me as an authority figure as hard as I try. They do a lot of horrible things to me and my two daughters. I’m at a loss of what to do with them.

Wow that’s crazy! They are too old for that, especially the 12 yr old. Plus, that’s your house, no one should be able to sneak anything without having consequences, I wish one of my kids would lol, they know I don’t play. I would hide the juice in the house from them and make sure there is no drinking after a certain time and make them use the bathroom 2xs before going to bed.

U really need to get their father on ur side my 3yo will wake up on her own to use the bathroom I had a cousin that would wet the bed every night ny grandma would wake her up to go and it helped a lot I hope u can get the kids the help they need and my kids all clean up after themselves even my younger kids u shouldn't have to clean up their pull-ups it's gross I'd be embarrassed and take care of it myself

@mamaofzuri, they do wear adult diapers, they leave through them and then leave the pull ups on the floor 🙄😒

@salogogo, we have tried the Alarm machines they just take them off. I’ve tried waking them and it’s just a mess, they end up freaking out and waking up my 3 year old and 10 month old in the process

I know its hard but i would put alarm and wake them up to go to bathroom in the night so they get ur point, good luck
