I'm struggling with deciding if I should just schedule a repeat c section or try for a vbac. 😪😪

I’m in the same boat... my doctor wants me to get an sonogram at 35wks to

See how big she is (cause that’s why I had an c section with my daughter) if she is big then I have to get another c section but they won’t do that into 39wks.. so who knows I may just go into labor before it’s schedule. Just so confusing lol

@megan03, that's the same reason I had one with my daughter. They were pretty sure she wouldn't fit. But with this one I asked about a ultrasound later on and she just told me those are super accurate 🙄 so I'm still clueless as to what to do.

And both my kids never went 40 wks. My son was 38wks and my daughter was 39.wks so if I do c section at 39wks I’m pretty sure I will be going into labor before c section which kinda defeats the purpose. It’s all just confusing and I hate it! Hopefully they give you more info about it as you get closer..

@megan03, I hope so! I'm really nervous about spending countless hours in labor for them just to say it won't work. 🤷🏼‍♀️I guess since I already have a kid it'd be much easier knowing exactly when I have to go in.

@taylortarrant, yep I’m with you there! Only good thing about c section is going before due date and knowing the date ... cause the pain after is insane as you know!

I’m sure it will all work it self out. Fingers crossed.
