>>Formula Feeding Question<<
I’ve just switched to MAM bottle instead of TT and I’ve only brought one to test it ( only sold one per pack) my question is how do I make up the feeds, do I make up all the feeds in TT bottles and transfer them to MAM bottles when ready for feed? So I will have to do a lot of sterilising and washing??? How can I make this work
@valentinats17 If kettle is too hot...still make up the bottle and run under the cold tap to cool down :) maybe look into a prep machine? X
She feeds every 2 hours in the day so the kettle would be to cold or either to hot? And in the night she feeds at around 3,5 and 7am it depends.. I’m so confused ! X
I use mam bottles for my 4 weeks old and I make it in the mam bottle I make it as and when baby wants it just make sure the kettle is boiled after each bottle is made x
Quick question to breast feeding mum i would like to breast feed my baby when she comes as I’ve never really breast fed my other 2, is it uncomfortable also how is pumping out milk????? For bottle feeds is the pump uncomfortable... I would normally just breast feed and not pump when home but I do drive so when I’m out and can’t stop I’ll have to use a bottle...I remember trying to breast feed my youngest and I keeped getting milk ducts why was that??? I think that’s why I gave up as I was scared...
Ladies, I need help with my 3 month old. He is refusing the bottle. I have tried tommee Tippee and Mam Bottles but no luck there. The only way he will take it is if I trick him by breastfeeding him and then inserting the bottle mid feeding. I need some tips on how to overcome this!!!
I formula fed my 8y/o and breast fed my 3y/o for 16 months, I’ve decided for my own reasons due to the problems I did face breastfeeding my 3y/o that I am going to formula feed this one. My question is I have no idea about formula as it was so long ago I used it! What do I buy for newborns? Best brand? Also, bottles!? I have heard good things about mam bottles but don’t know what steriliser etc!? Help appreciated xxx
I don’t understand how to make a bottle... I’ve read it over and over and it’s just not sinking in 😂😂😂
when i had my son 11 years ago (almost 12years ago) each morning i'd make 8 bottles up and they would chill on the side untill going in fridge. i would do this each morning and use them feeds throughtout the day as and when needed, obviously if didnt drink all from one then it would be thrown and bottle backnin steriliser ready to start again.
can you not do this anymore and have to do bottles 1 by 1 as u need them?
I would make up 3 or 4 feeds at a time. I know good old health visitors and perfect parent brigade will say OMG MAKE THEM FRESH but every parent I know did it this and my parents before us. I can't be making a bottle fresh at 1am when my baby demands to be fed asap lol. I'd boil the kettle leave to cool and just add formula when baby wanted feeding. Or add formula, cool then put in fridge and warm through in bottle warmer when needed.
