Just got tested for the Group B Strep. Anyone’s come back positive?

@verguinia, @megan03, @daniellenagle87, @nerdymommyplus2, thank y’all ladies. Mine came back positive, and I read it can be fatal to the baby, so I started to freak out. Thank y’all. 💙

@triniboo21, they said between 35-37 weeks you’re tested for it.

I had it with my first daughter they had to put a penicillin IV during child birth to kill off the bacteria when the baby passes the birth canal

Back positive with both my kids, it’s common from what my doctor said. They give you meds in your iv when your in labor.

Mine came back positive with my first child.

Never had it done? This test is new to me. Plus at how many months would they have you take this test?
