Emergency!!! So my milk supply has gone down and I don’t have enough supply to feed my son, so I tried introducing him to formula and he just spits it out, I’ve tried mixing it with my milk and he still won’t drink it, does anyone have any suggestions on how to get him to drink it, I’ve bought 4 different kinds, from powders to premade formula! I also heard you can flavour it does anyone have more information on this?

Have you started any new medication? How often do you breastfeed him? What makes you believe that your milk supply decreased?
@tania.elbaba, he is 3 months old, I’m not sure why my milk has gone down, maybe stress? And I haven’t started yet because he won’t drink it!
How old is your son? Why is your supply decreasing?When did you start giving him formula?
I have no suggestions as to ways to make your little one take formula but i'd suggest you try eating oatmeal daily to help with your breastmilk flow...i know what works for me might not work for you but i think its worth the shot if you want. Be consistent and i believe you will start seeing results on day 3 or so...another suggestion is to stay hydrated....helps with milk production too. Also, maybe you should give your baby liquid formula like nestle good start, since it is closest to breastmilk and comes already in liquid form. I do hope atleast one of my suggestions work for you.
