@lovemygirls18, GIRL, SAME!! I regret telling her we were pregnant so early (6 weeks) because by the time we got home the whole freakin’ Bronx in little Italy knew about it! At our gender reveal after popping the balloon, everyone congratulated her before me and my boyfriend. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I see her social media and she posts constantly about my baby being born soon, and I see all these people congratulating her like she’s the one having a baby. It’s just super annoying seeing her get all this attention for a baby she’s rarely even going to see. 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 Meanwhile this woman doesn’t bother to check to see how I’m doing with my pregnancy... talk about a hypocrite. 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

@raquely, OMG, YES! All of my SO’s brothers all had girls, so when we found out we were having a boy she started to become intolerable... I SWEAR this woman started acting like my baby is hers and I’m just a surrogate the second we saw blue confetti come out of the balloon. 🤦🏻‍♀️ My SO and I wanted a girl, so it was even worse that she continued to rub it in our faces that we were having a boy. It just drives me insane that she’s getting all this attention and acting like my baby is hers when in reality she’s not even going to be seeing him as much as she thinks she is. 🤦🏻‍♀️😅

My MIL lives 3 blocks away... 🤦🏻‍♀️ I know for sure she’ll be trying to come over when he’s born, but since she didn’t bother to check on me during my pregnancy I will make every excuse in the book to keep her from coming over. 🤷🏻‍♀️🙃 I literally only see her once a month and she’s down the street. I also have a feeling she’ll be expecting me to take my baby to see her every day, but that’s definitely not happening. 🤷🏻‍♀️😂😂 Lmao

Grandparents usually feel blessed to get a new brand baby I wouldn’t find it annoying at all (yet again I like my MIL she’s really cool so I can’t relate lol I guess if it was a woman I didn’t like it would be annoying)

😳oh hell no. My MIL has 7 Kids of her own; her youngest is 2. Idk what I’d do if she was this way. I thought she wouldn’t like me since I’m the first Hispanic Female my Husband has ever been with. But Ever since we met she’s been so nice to me, it’s been 5 years. I hope she doesn’t switch up... My Mother on the other hand 🤦🏻‍♀️ acts like this is Her “son she never had” her words exactly. . She’s lucky I love her.

@lost.sock.thief, lol She’s been a bit more obsessive than blessed I feel... she has more than 20 grandchildren she never sees nor tries to act like a grandmother to them which is why I feel uncomfortable with her being a little too obsessed over my baby. She bought her own crib and pack n play, and stroller for her house... which makes no sense whatsoever, especially since I don’t ever plan on leaving him alone with her. 🤦🏻‍♀️

@mayelinne, Omg..🙈 lol my MIL has 5 boys. 2 of them have girls, and my boyfriend is the first to break the girl streak and have a boy. I think because we’re having a boy she thinks it’s her baby because she had all boys, and her other sons had all girls so she never had a connection with them because of that.🤭 I rarely see her in person even though she lives 3 blocks away, but I see her all over social media posting about my baby and how she’s going to raise him, and etc... 🙅🏻‍♀️ Nope. She’s in for a rude awakening when she finds out that I’m not taking him to see her every day like she wants, and I don’t trust her enough to leave her alone with him either. 🤷🏻‍♀️🙃

@malainaheka23 oh wow... I can only imagine what your going through.... I'm on baby number 4 and I know how MIL can be so I'm staying far away....... I'm to the point where she won't be allowed in the hospital.... She came to see my son when he was born in the nursery and didn't come to see me so I have a surprise for her ass.. She's not even allowed in to see my baby this time....

@malainaheka23, oh my ! Is she not good with babies ?? Thankfully I’ve been blessed to have a good mil I would let her keep Addilynn anytime she wanted she and I have the exact same parenting styles and she respects my wishes a lot always asking me if certain things are okay for Addilynn to eat ect she’s really respectful and I love it !

@lost.sock.thief, I personally don’t know if she is or not considering she hasn’t been around a baby in the past year and a half when one of my SO’s nieces were born... she always talks about how she raised her sons and that she’s going to do the same with my baby. I don’t approve with her parenting styles at all so I’m very adamant about me or my SO supervising her with our baby. You’re so very lucky to be blessed with a good MIL!!! I wish mine would be the same and respect my wishes but I know for sure that she’ll do the total opposite and not listen to me if I ever considered letting her watch my baby. 😓
