Anyone’s child have impetigo?? I have a little boy in my daycare who had a scab on his face yesterday and I noticed it was leaking fluid. I asked his mom to take him to the doctor and it turns out it was that. I am now freaking out that my kids....my other daycare kids....and myself are going to get it 😫
How bad is it?

I've had this before. It was awful. Once the sores aren't leaking it's no longer contagious. All you can do is disinfect everything!
Doesnt look so bad in the picture because his mouth is closed, but when he opened it. My oh my it was bad! Not trying to make this situation worse by telling you that :(
@brynsmommie, after the prescriptions were applied, about a week before it fully cleared up.

My sisters 3 kids all had it. It was bad all over their face, lips, inside their nose & on their hands! I’m hoping for your sake you guys don’t get it because it was brutal for my nieces/nephews
@sashie, I used like an entire bottle of spray Lysol around my whole house yesterday after I found out what it was!
I know! People always wanna get me to give in to my sickness rules and I never do! With this though, it was just a rash, and his mom thought it was dry skin but I noticed it leaking when he got up from his nap and then I made sure to tell his mom when she got here that he needed to go to the dr!!
@brynsmommie, my thing is why do parents send there kids to daycare/school while sick come on especially when it’s contagious like have consideration for other ppl and there children
