I'm exhausted, the schedule with NICU is for me to go in at 12, 3, 6, 9 and attempt to get Carson to latch, being a preemie, he has to develop this skill, if he is relatively awake, I bottle feed him as much as he will take and then tube feed the rest, this takes approx 45 mins, then I go pump for approx 20-25 mins and try to sleep/eat/shower before heading back in for the next one which is about 1.5 hours. But......I love every second of this Mom Life, can't believe he is almost a week old!!!!

Feel lucky that it’s every three hours. They had me doing it every two hours. I never got any sleep lol

@braindeadmama they want me to do every 2 hours pumping and every 3 hours feeding him, it's Alot.

@braindeadmama the lactation consultant said once my milk is fully in, every 3 hours is fine...I'm only getting about 50 now
