You can’t overfeed a tiny baby. If he’s asking to eat often he could be having a growth spur which is normal. Spitting up is also very normal and will last until they’re around 6 months old. My daughter did it regardless of how much she ate so it’s not a tell if they had too much or not.
@mimimommyof2, growth spurts are very tiresome on both baby and you. It was awful the first few months and I was nursing on demand, I remember my nipples being so sore from the cluster feedings. But it’s all worth it. Nature is beautiful and the baby growing healthy is our priority as mommies. Nothing wrong with worrying, we’ve all got your back
@mimimommyof2, oh I know! It’s amazing how different just two pregnancies are! I can’t imagine how different they’ll be when my second is born 💕 giving life is the most incredible gift.

what does he eat
Mimi·
@boymamachronicles, I mean drinks lol🤣 for me it’s like eating I guess lol he’s formula now fully
Eryka·
It should be 1 ounce for every hour in the day until 1 years old. So if he eats every 4 hours it should be 4 ounces.
Mimi·
He eats 4 every 2/3 hours 😪 maybe I’ll lose an oz cus he does spit up every feeding

@mimimommyof2 lol girl that's what I meant. I mean like how much how often. they say 1-1.5 per hour
Mimi·
@boymamachronicles, hahaha ok he’ll eat 4 ozevery 2/3 hours

@mimimommyof2 sounds ok. mine eats every 2-3 also
Mimi·
@boymamachronicles, ok thank you ❤️❤️

If he’s spitting up I’d try to cut back an ounce, but obviously if he’s crying for food don’t starve him lol. Mama knows best so go with your gut.

My pedi said you can never " overfeed " a newborn
They consume as much as they need.
