@21teen, hopefully they make him be a man that he chose to be when he got you pregnant. Even if you’re better off without him you deserve child support and support in general. 😊

Is his parents making him take any responsibility?? I have a daughter that’s 16 and I tell her all the time a lot of guys that young are just after one thing. I’m in Ohio too. Do you know the Ohio laws in case he ever tries to get out of child support or anything?

I haven’t even had that talk with my son and he’s 9yrs old. His father and I broke up when I was 6 months pregnant he only saw him once as a newborn at his moms when I got out the hospital after that we’ve never spoken, or saw each other ever again.
@sherilynne23 that's going to be the way with my son I'm sure. He's not here yet and I already feel like I've failed.
@21teen believe me, it hurts more than you can be prepared for. My oldest has come to me several times in tears wanting to know about her dad. And there's nothing good about him that I can tell her. The worst part is, even tho he's the jerk that left, it makes me feel like I'm the one that failed her. And now I'm in the same situation with my baby girl. There's gonna be a day that she's gonna ask me about her dad and I have to tell her that he dumped us. It's awful!!
@21teen yes I felt that way but one day he will turn around and say mommy thank you for telling me the truth !!!
@verguinia yes definitely!! It just sucks and I'm sure I'm not going to be okay after I tell him, but I know I'll have to be strong.

@verguinia exactly. Im sure my boy will want to see his father. Im definitely not going to keep him away from him. It just breaks my heart to see that my son has to be told by me. Its the saddest thing ever.
I told my daughter when she started asking me around 3 years old I told her the truth I feel it's important for a child to know the truth she is ok with it now she is 8 and I even told her I reached out to him but he never responded i showed her the Facebook messege she knows his name and I have a book with his info for the future I am not going to keep her from wanting to meet him if she finds him in the future it's her choice but I tell her I will never give up and run off like him because she will always have me to keep her strong and raise her
