Really contemplating leaving my bf. I’m not happy, we don’t really have a relationship anymore. The only things really holding me back is our daughter, she loves her daddy. Although he’s barely around lately anyway. Also we’ve just been together almost 6 years. The change kinda scares me.

You shouldn't put your own happiness on hold because of a child however I recently went through something similar. Have you talked to him about how you're feeling?

@nerdymommyplus2, Yeah he just says I’m being clingy, or I’m being stupid, and if I want to go I can. Sooo pretty well tells me how he feels about it.

Yeah then I would leave. One person can't make a relationship work 🤷. Just because you have a child doesn't mean you should stay. Your daughter will sense the unhappiness and think that's how relationships are supposed to be

Going through the same thing right now but we're married so there's more to it than just our daughter. I'd move back to Cali from Ga and finances and all that. I'd suggest to really think hard cause she's still too young to know what's going on anyways. Maybe try counseling?
