Hey do anyone knows about child custody??? My babyfather tryna take my daughter from me...he dont even have his own place i have my own place...i dont want him around her...do he have any rights??.

@myboys1962 is that what you were told? I don't remember my husband needing those but I could be wrong. I also live in nc and not VA. Im from VA and my daughter's custody is from there so I believe you...I couldnt change her name without his signature and her birth father isn't even on her birth certificate!

U need to get emergency temporary custody asap. It's best to file before he does. Make sure you have your stuff in order

@myboys1962, You’ll have to go to court and fight to get full custody. I understand your concerns completely though.
I know a lot about it! If the birth father is on the birth certificate he has partial rights. But if you feel he is to unfit or being unsafe with her you can deny him to see her because police will not doing anything unless there is a custody agreement between the two of you.
@theinkedmommy yea but i dont want him take my daughter out my house he lives wit his brother girlfriend they smoke weed over there...its not safe
@myboys1962, Then that could potentially cause issues as I BELIEVE by him being on it that means custody is 50/50.
I would go file before he does. But even if you dnt, without proving you are an unfit mother the courts won't take her away from you. The most they would grant him would probably be partial custody.

At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.

Who will be there to help you get through your labor? I'm29 weeks and am realizing I dont have anyone to be there for me. Really, I dont have anyone now to get me through my pregnancy. I've been doing it all on my own but once it's Showtime, I won't be able to do it on my own. It's a little depressing and gets me emotional but I need to snap out of it and find someone soon!!!
