@sjo1, @braindeadmama, @motherof3nigerianprincesses, @lost.sock.thief, Hey moms, just wanted to give you all an update short term disability manager reached out to me and asked what was going on I broke it down to her how my doctor said bed rest would benefit me but she not recommending short term disability. Well god is good! She approved it anyway and told me after tomorrow don’t go back to work!!!

@lost.sock.thief, I hate you had to go through that! I’m glad you understand where I’m coming from with this, it’s not like I’m asking to be off work for 4 months or nun I literally got a couple of days left

I know how you feel to a degree

I was having preterm contractions around 36-37 wks each contraction would last like about a minuet and come back every minuet maybe two, from about 10pm to 7am every night !

My doctor didn’t even write me a school note (I was in high school) he said “oh well we can prescribe medicine that will help stop the contractions but that’s about it”

So my ass had to still go to school and walk the damn stairs and walk across the entire campus every day with people shoving me in the halls An their backpacks all hitting me An shit.

I legit got to the point where when I went through the halls an someone got close to me they got hit .🤷🏻‍♀️

Long story short my doctor didn’t show me any consideration and it sucked don’t let your doc do the same !!!!

I’m beyond stressed at this point I asked so if this happen again y’all just want me to go back to the hospital! That don’t make any sense!!!!! She said u were experiencing pre term labor it may happen again today or tomorrow!

As weird as this is...is she married? Kinda sound like she did that on purpose.

I mean i could understand if you were at 35 or 36 weeks. But i don’t understand why she would stop it now. Next time they plan on stopping it I’d say no we are not stopping it. They have to listen to you

@braindeadmama, that’s another thing I’m not understanding I’m scheduled for the 26th anyway what’s gon change between now and then? This whole experience is a nightmare

@sjo1, I said can you at least write a note word from word... The above named patient was seen in our clinic today 2/14/18. She was seen at the hospital on 2/13/18 due to contractions. Patient may benefit from home bed rest. But does not qualify for short term disability. Any questions or concerns please contact our clinic.
