Being induced Wednesday how was everyone else? Was anyone else induced and what was your experience like?

@rosiemay04 I'm a first time mum myself. Only a week into the mummy life. And I haven't been put of having more kids. Love my little man to pieces xx

@rosiemay04 you'll want another baby once you're through ;) it's all so worth it, the pain the tears and the drugs 😄😊

@kes96, I just hope the gel works or me and she doesn’t take too long my midwife said the pain relief there for u to use so use it so I’m going to I am thinking or having a epidural as it sounds quite nice to have it I can’t wait to it’s all over now I just keep thinking what I will get at the end of it just got to try and keep myself calm xx

@rosiemay04 Yeah I was told the same and I tried everything but my body wasn't having it. Haha little man still ended up back to back with me and pushing at wrong exit so I wasn't dilating fast enough.

But honestly hun. Don't be scared to take the painkillers or drugs they have because it will make it better. Gas and air got me through most part but Epidural was best at end. :) not long now till you meet your little one xx

@kes96, they said try everything to soften the cervix’s so u can have just your waters broken I hope it’s okay for me iv been having tightening today so hopefully it will all be okay and not such a long waiting time xx

I was induced on Saturday with Propess which didn't work. On Sunday they put pessary in and I only dialated to 1cm. At 7pm on Sunday they broke my waters and put me on hormonal drip. Only got to 4cm when they realised baby has low oxygen left so ended up emergency section.

Induction isn't painful as such cause you can have the drugs to help you through contractions it's just sometimes they don't work.

@rosiemay04, the insertion of pessary on its own is just discomfortable but the induced pain hurt a lot as it's massively different to the natural pains.... They built up within a short time frame in my case.... Induced around 4pm, water broke by 7pm followed by contractors and baby was born at 11 PM.So all went quickly. Loads of pain but well worth at the end. 😘😊xx

@abbyrose1997x that was me minus sepsis 😴 exhausting but just think you get to meet your baby so soon whether it's a good induction or a long one it will be worth it :) xx

I was induced with the gel ended up having it 4 times and it didn't work so had to have a c-section. I was really worrying about it but honestly was nothing to be worried about. For me it felt like bad period cramps for about half an hour-1hr then felt normal then they came back. It's uncomfortable having it done but so worth it xx

@cassieunsworth4, because she’s big I saw when u got induced with the gel was painful for u that’s what I have to have on Wednesday xx

@rosiemay04 hi hun how come your being induced hun. I'm trying to sleep but can't got bad tummy ache. I had my pessary put in at 2pm I'm going to ask for some paracetamol and codine now as this back ache is terrible. It's not so bad being induced it's just a shame that it didn't happen naturally but end result is same I guess and it seems to be the norm xx

@rosiemay04 don't worry you will be fine I loved the experience and I would do it a million times over! It's so worth it in the end you forget about all the pain and stuff xx

Was that your first baby? I hope it’s okay for me I was due for a sweep Thursday but they moved me being induced till Wednesday so no time to have a sweep now xx

I didnt find it painful being induced. Just uncomfortable. But the pessery thing wouldnt go in at first and kept poping out so she had to put it in three times. But it kinda felt like the sweep (if you have had one) but yeh more uncomfortable then painful for me x

I was induced at 1.05am and had my baby at 20.57pm same day (only one pessery) (cant spell it)x

I was induced was in labour for 3 days and had to have an emergancy c section then stay in hospital for a week due to sepsis so not great but I would do it a million times over!
