I seriously cannot stand my husbands side of the family which are all women by the way. My sons birthday is today and we took him to Disneyland yesterday. I have mastitis that’s trying to creep up, and I wanted today to be a chill day for all of us, and I wanted US to spend time with my son. My mil apparently told my husband that they wanted to throw him a party at OUR 1 bedroom apartment with 12 other people not including us 4. I was NEVER told this until dinner Friday night and I let them know that I was not going to allow that. They wanted to come pick up our son to cut a cake at one of my husbands aunts house who lives in a single room. Can y’all imagine 14 people in a single room!? Well anyway, I was hesitant because I’m his mother and I wanted to spend time with him. Apparently they thought they could just come pick him up and me and my husband didn’t allow it, so they are literally crying over it. Sayin they “spent” so much money on him. For one I didn’t know they wanted to throw him like a birthday party, because they stated it was JUST a cake and maybe little Cesar’s pizza. I just can’t believe i cant even decide to spend my sons birthday and have him with us as a family without them trying to act all crazy. My mom isn’t even tripping. She knows we are all tired and that we celebrated his birthday at Disneyland and I threw him a little party at his daycare on Friday. I just wanna be with my kid on the day I gave birth to him without being surrounded by women who throw everything they do for you in your face. It shouldn’t be that hard.
