When do people start buying gifts for a baby shower??🤔 it's been planned for at least a month and I've checked my registry everyday, only 3 things have been bought...but there's only a week left till the shower...is it normal for people to not get anything till the day b4??

Yup. That's what I do and that s what most people did for me LOL. They may just be buying things from different places if it's cheaper

A lot of people don't scan the registry, or they'll buy it elsewhere where it's cheaper. Almost nothing was marked as "bought" off my registry but I got so much that was on it.

Asking to Bring People to Baby Shower
Every time someone RSVP's they ask to bring someone else with them to the shower. How would you handle this? I feel bad saying no, but I can only have so many people there.
I told my friend my mom wants to throw me a baby shower and write on the invite "monetary gifts only" and he told me that people aren't trying to pay for my "gas bill" I'm offended because a lot of money goes into a baby shower, and if you're gonna give me a 10$ blanket from Ross that I probably won't even use it's a waste. I rather use those 10$ for my honest company diaper subscription.
