So I was feeling guilty that my cat won't ever get to be a mom bc she's spayed...my bf said "yeah but it's ok...besides you don't want to deal with her in heat" I said "does getting my tubes tied prevent me from 'going into heat'??? Cuz if so I'm totally doing that!😂" he says "yeah but you don't go into heat".........im like "the fuck you think a period is, boy?!?!" 😂😂

For did and cats being spayed is a total hysterectomy and removal of both ovaries so they don't go into heat/get period. Only getting your tubes tied had no effect on hormones or period
