We had the anatomy scan today. We couldn't get good pic because of baby's position. The doc informed us that the umbilical cord has only 2 vessels versus three. The condition is called SAU and to put it short it could affect growth. However; the Dr. checked all of the vital organs and the overall anatomy and everything looked fine 👐🏽. They will just keep a closer eye on baby's growth. I have to go back for another ultrasound in 6 weeks. There's a 75% chance that the SAU won't have any kind of effect on our baby or the pregnancy. But if baby doesn't continue to be properly nourished we might have to consider early delivery or we could go full-term and baby be slightly underweight. Has anyone else experienced SAU? Apparently it happens in about 1/100 pregnancies so it's rather common. It's even more common with multiples.
@nellybamba Yes, everything else was normal except theu cant find his right arm and need a better view of his heart.
@bbyzvcy18 Thanks hun. Could they determine if everything else looked fine?
I just had one the other day and i know the freaken stress of this waiting game. I have to wait three weeks to go back for a follow up.... it's like I cant wait... I dont want to knowing my baby may not be ok. It drives me crazy. You take care and God bless dear.
I wish....
There was a place all of us could bring our May babies to play with each other, so our babies could have some great friends, like we all have in this group :)))
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.

Would you rather your baby have a common name or an unusual name? 🤔
Anatomy scan
15 days until my anatomy scan! Ugh of course it's going to feel like forever!! Due March 5th with a baby girl. ??
I just had my anatomy scan, they suspect that the baby has "cleft lip, unilateral". I have to go to a specialist next week for confirmation. Has any momma dealt with this?? I'm heart broken
@bbyzvcy18 oh ok. I'm sure our babies will be just fine 😊
