My son just recently turned one and he does not like milk I still breastfeed but I got to get him to drink milk and it doesn't help he's been sick recently so he's just really wanting to nurse and not really eat or drink anything. Is there another safe substitute for milk that I couod give him .He also still gets formula here and there only when I go to work . He usually a good eater except for now because he's still getting over a stomach bug that he had.

@geniedeloatch0, just keep trying new things. There nothing wrong with him nursing him, sooner or later he’ll find something 😊
No they dont need an alternative. We are just told to do so. As long as the child is getting a good range of healthy fats and foods they dont need it. But for cereal or other things you can choose an alternative milk or pump and give breastmilk if you want
@littleonemorning he's not a big water Drinker either it sucks he doesn't really like drinking anything other than being nursed

You can also give him water too, but like previous comment said there are other alternatives to milk.
He doesnt have to have milk after 1 years old. You can continue to nurse him or you can give alternatives if you feel the need. Soy, coconut, almond, hemp, oat, pea etc milk.
When can I start giving my son regular milk? He turns 10 months in 2 days. I bought unsweetened almond milk yesterday so he can try. Would that be okay? I’m lowkey tired of him on formula but I mean he’s still a baby lol.

So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
How would you guys feel if your husband drank every night between 6 and 12 beers with children in the house. But the only time he drinks is after 7. Sometimes if he works his night job on the beach doing the tractor he comes home at midnight and starts drinking 10 beers. He doesn't get up in the morning to help with kids and is passed out on couch???? My son just turned 4 months and he eats a lot like 5 ounces every 2 - 3 hours is that bad ? Should I start introducing him to cereal ? He's on enfamil formula maybe mixing cereal in his milk will keep his tummy full for a longer time ?
