CONCERN... ANSWERS PLEASE...😔😧
So during our 21 weeks anatomy ultrasound today they still had problem viewing his heart... allthough they said that they dont see any signs of abnormalities, and for me to go back in 3 weeks. Should I be concern?
Plus my baby boy is breeched with his back against my right side... meaning his right arm should be facing the outside for easy viewing BUT they weren't able to find his right arm allthough they found his left side that is deeper inside? The nurse said might of had it tucked or it may be piled under placenta since there's a great amount of placenta in that area. Has anyone else experienced this? Sorry, I'm just concern. I just want my baby to be ok. Please let me know if this has ever happened to you ladies and what were the outcomes of not being able to find a certain body part during an anatomy ultrasound. Thanks in advance ladies.

Nope. Same exact thing happened to me yesterday. They said it's common since they have to be in a certain position and babies don't always cooperate.

And also he was laying on his right side so they couldn't get a measurement or something. Pretty much exact same situation with small details changed 😂. With my daughter, she was laying funky so they couldn't measure the spine skin or something but they told me they werent going to worry about it

My MFM (specialists in OB) couldn’t get a certain part of the heart and they have the best sono machine and techs. So don’t worry! Babies are still soooo small at 21 weeks they hide so well. I know it’s hard to say don’t worry, but don’t! They aren’t been a pound at that stage, and they have alllll that room and fluid to hide in.

They couldn't see his heart or his spine on my first one, and I had a follow up and everything was perfectly fine :] yay for another ultrasound :] sending you positive vibes!

Thanks for responding ladies. Makes me feel a hopeful! I was mainly worried about his arm. You ladies have made me feel better. Pray for us please... this pregnancy has been one thing after another. First we found out that i had a liver infection, then kidney stones, and just a few weeks ago gestational diabetes. Now this and I'm just about to go crazy. I just want my baby boy to be healthy and safe.

@bbyzvcy18 wow. That's a lot to handle. I had snowballing issues my last two months, so I can relate to how you feel.

I just went through the same thing, don’t worry. Sometimes baby’s don’t cooperate or aren’t in the right position. Everything turned out to be just fine.
