Any tips for the glucose test?

Both times I woke up and had my usual water with ACV and then had black beans for breakfast (instead of my normal smoothie) 🙌🏻

Don't eat pizza if you don't have to fast. Or anything high in carbs. I think that's where I messed up at so I have to retest

Yep! What these two ladies said. Don’t eat anything high in carbs or sugar - you’ll get a false positive.

Yeah I'm kicking myself in the ass for the 3 slices of pizza like and hour before the test now I go in on fasting conditions tomorrow for the 3 hour version. I hate needles and the lady drawing blood is not very gentle. So now I'm like super worried lol even though I know what probably caused the slight elevated levels was my fault.

If u haven’t already scheduled it, schedule for the very first appt of the day. Some offices tell you that you can eat certain things. DONT DO IT! Do not eat anything. Until after ur appt.

@madukes Well that's usually how it goes,since I work late. I may try and eat something light in the early am,idk.

@aandbi14, dont eat anything after midnight. No nibble on anything because the 3 hr test is torturous. Sacrifice for the hr test lol.
