‼ I know what Child Abuse is but whats your point of view of it? Like what to you is Child Abuse? ‼

Emotional, physical, psychological, sexual are all forms of abuse that i refuse to tolerate.

Hurting a child in any way I consider abuse

There’s so many kinds of child abuse - when it comes to physical? Anytime you make a child bleed or bruise , or take out your anger on the child or hit him to a point where he can’t take it ... a child who’s also under a certain age should not be hit at all . I’m all for a pat on the butt and hand if they did something terrible . But anything more then that . Like serious hitting with objects or making a child actually FEAR you - once your child fears you in an unhealthy normal way ... there’s something wrong

@beemommyof3, would you say that letting a kid to sleep til when ever they want is abuse? 🤔 but obviously when they wake up you feed them , change them , let them play etc?

@amandabl16 no letting a baby sleep whenever is not abuse in my opinion . I live by "never wake a sleeping baby" lol

No as long a baby is not suffering in any way - being fed , emotionally happy , and has a warm home that’s not abuse , that’s just not setting a child’s schedule .

Depends on the circumstances but I wouldn't call it abuse

@mckallalynn.., because my son sleeps all morning until 3 because he thinks when we put him to sleep at 11 or 10:30 he wakes up at 12 12:30 thinking its play time & doesn’t go back to sleep until 4 in the morning which isn’t a problem because im normally up doing school work. As soon as he wakes up i change him everything feed him etc...

Anything that is harmful to a child whether that be physical or emotional... Neglect is also a form of abuse as that contributes to their overall well being. Don’t think letting them sleep for awhile would really count as “abuse” though. Now if that parent was like, drugging them to make them sleep longer that would be different. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@amandabl16 as long as he is fed, and changed let him sleep. If he needed something he would wake up and let you know.

That doesn’t sound like child abuse at all, it just sounds like since he never had a regular sleeping schedule set, his nights and days are still a bit mixed up that’s all

@katyejordyn, i do sometimes 🤦🏽‍♀️🤷‍♀️ but im trying to finish school so thats the only time i get to do my work . Lol . & he did have a schedule but because my mil bought her mom over here she screams at night for my mil so he wakes up & ever since then his schedule is messed up & i tried to fix it but its not working to much

Physically hurting a child, sexual abuse, psychological abuse to me is abuse!
