@fasciamom, yeah it's assbackward and the cps worker said they basically work the same way I'm like way to protect our kids! 🙄

@missjess, I swear the justice system is the reason for all these abused kids.

@fasciamom, when I've tried to take pictures it's really hard to get a good picture of the clothes and his face and stuff cause of lighting and glare and I told the case worker and she was like yeah I get that :/ I mean I have my mom as a witness as I show her every single time when he comes home. But honestly I told my lawyer when we were doing custody that his dad was neglectful when I was right there and they didn't care. They say bad shit has to happen for them to do anything.

@missjess, is there any way you can get a lawyer and show them evidence that he’s dirty? Like every time your son comes home, take pictures. Grab everything you can, and then serve him to go to court over custody

@fasciamom, I totally agree it's unacceptable! It's not hard to take care of your child he's just a lazy no good bastard. She said they would just spring it on him but he's not home right now from what he told me he's away for work. 🙄 but honestly he doesn't deserve my son and I've given him chances but I doubt there will be much they do unless his house really is that bad and he doesn't have anything he should for my son which I doubt he does

@missjess, I don’t know what kid if guy leaves his kids in dirty clothes and doesn’t even wash him up or make an effort to have a good time but he just doesn’t deserve unsupervised visits. I think I remember you saying he lives super far away, but if it means both of you meeting in the middle somewhere for only one day visits, then i guess that’s how it has to be. Did they tell you if they were going to notify him or if they were just going to spring up on him?

@fasciamom, yeah they did exactly that! My cupboards and fridge are stocked and my son has a crib and diapers. Stocked and my house is clean as a whistle. So I know his fathers isn't! And God only knows what he has for him there 😶 I did the right thing my son does come first! I told the lady like I'm not trying to take him away from him but I want him to start being a better father to my son and stop treating him is such disregard! Like wtf asshole this is your child🤔

I hope everything goes well. Just make sure you clean up and they’re usually super nice. They’ll want to see where you keep the food, his bed, and how clean you are (I called cps on my mom when I was a kid, unfortunately we came from a well off home so they didn’t believe me and left it at a house check)

And just tell them everything that’s going on. Don’t get nervous, your son comes first!

@noragra, thank you so much! It was hard and I'm scared but the case worker just let me know what will or won't happen and everything is good on my end. I'm just scared of wtf he's going to try and pull 🤐

I’ve seen a lot of your posts about this situation but never commented. I just want to say, from what I’ve seen you write, you are doing the right thing for your son. I can only imagine how hard it was, but you’re doing what’s best for your baby. I wish you luck with all of this and I hope everything works out in your son’s favor. @missjess, oh wow! I am sure all will be ok! I don’t know anything about cps and checking things out but I am sure as long as you have the basic necessities and your son is happy and healthy, all will be fine! I am guessing since you called on him, they want to check you out as well!

@theycallmemommy, I finally got the nerve to call cps on my sons father and they have to come here and check out my house and talk to me and I'm so scared about the whole thing 😫
