Makes me upset that I invite all these people to my baby shower and majority of them can’t rsvp by…

Sadly this happens a lot. 😞 I had a bunch of childhood friends saying that they can't wait to see my baby and see him grow up and will be there for me because it takes a village to raise a baby but once he was born no one came around. When we happen to run into them they act like they've been around and say aww its my baby! Blah blah blah and I'm like ummmm what? He doesn't even know you.

@aylenrose, I see that. And the crazy thing is I’m gonna be the person to family and friends like look you haven’t been around don’t think your a big person in our lives

@meggcragle it really is especially if you were there for any of your friends that had kids first. I was for my friend when she was a teen mom I came over to her house every day I didn't work and helped with her baby so she could get a break, take a shower etc. But as you and your baby grow and go do mommy and me things you will probably find some mom friends that will get what you are going through.

@aylenrose, that’s exactly what I did for my friend and I’m not even sure if she is coming bc now she’s to good! I hope I could find mommy friends that truly hold a relationship

@meggcragle yeah my friend went to the shower but wasn't around for anything else. :/ its definitely possible a friend I had in high school got pregnant 3 weeks before me and we both got really close while we were pregnant and brought our babies together after their shots.it was great but I feel like the last few months she hasn't really reached out to me. It's always me to her so I feel like I bother her. I'm waiting for her to get ahold of me and she hasn't so far.
