Short Luteal Phase? I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
Dad's FB Video!! Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!
Baby won't bear weight on leg I have a walking 10 month old and she has been extra fussy yesterday and today. Today I noticed she didn't really want to crawl, she would just cry until I came and picked her up. After I fed her, I tried setting her down to play with her big sister and she just started crying and wouldn't put any weight on her left leg. She will put weight down on her right leg but then just cries until you pick her back up. I thought maybe she just didn't want to be put down (as baby's often do). I tried a few more times over the next 30 minutes and she still won't put any weight on it. I had a meeting (I work from home), so I took her upstairs to my husband. She is now playing with her siblings and happy, but he text me (from upstairs) and says she still won't put weight on it. She is just sitting there playing.

That’s sucks your in that position. My bf’s brother moved in when my baby was like 2 weeks old. He knew he moved in with a newborn, and my bf is like can u have some consideration for other people when they are trying to sleep at night. I was like wtf no, does anyone have any consideration for me and take the baby off of my hands for a minute? F that!!!!!!! They know the situation, I would let hem just have to deal with it because if u keep giving ur daughter juice at night they’re going to have to deal with it another way. When my son was around the same age, I gave him warm chocolate milk. He would drink it before bed and sleep all night. I don’t want you to feel like I’m criticizing but juice gives little kids energy and probably why she is waking up crying at night, for some attention. Try some warm milk, maybe?

@nerualauren, she does usually get milk but she tends to get really really bad congestion which is the case right now and milk makes the mucus worse

Oh my goodness! You have got to be careful! Your daughter could get some really bad teeth problems from the juice and eventually the bottle!

Try finding these Nuby straw cups, they are super cheap and feel like a bottle but is actually a straw! $1.97 where I buy them!

And instead of juice use these in water! They don’t have any sugar but still taste great, so they won’t harm teeth!

Those people you live with have also go to understand that your child is still learning and they need to get over it. You are going to have to bite the bullet and let her cry it out, when you just rush in and “solve” the problem for her or have people flipping out around her, that all makes the situation worse. If everyone chills and gives her a while, she should be able to learn how to calm herself down. Sounds harsh and will be hard but it’s a quick lesson and very good for kids to learn.

We do have those cups she's uses them during the day but at night she likes to be able to hold the bottle up and still get juice and I never thought of using those thank you so much I'll try them and that's what I'm trying to do let her cry it out because my daughter is getting to the point where she thinks if she keeps crying about it she'll get what she wants and that's what I don't want

My daughter was the same way but I got her a sippy cup that has a little weigh at the bottom so at any angle she's holding the cup she's getting juice. They sell them at Wal-Mart. I don't remember the brand but she transitioned excellently with it.

This is the one I'm talking about.

She was able to fall asleep drinking out of it cause the weighted part moves to whatever way they hold it. 😊
