It's annoying that I can't discipline or teach my child the way I want too I'm trying to get my daughter off the bottle so yes at night she's gonna cry but because I live with other people I can't have her crying they tell me just give her the bottle have her stop crying she doesn't let us sleep and because they don't want her crying it has to be juice in the bottle instead of water because then she'll still cry and to keep her from crying I end up having to give her I kid you not like 5 bottles a night and so of course she pees the bed so they tell me then change her pamper before she pees of course I change her freaking pamper!! It's just so much juice she has in her little body of course it comes out not just that but the cavities this little girl is gonna get from all that juice

She was able to fall asleep drinking out of it cause the weighted part moves to whatever way they hold it. 😊

My daughter was the same way but I got her a sippy cup that has a little weigh at the bottom so at any angle she's holding the cup she's getting juice. They sell them at Wal-Mart. I don't remember the brand but she transitioned excellently with it.

We do have those cups she's uses them during the day but at night she likes to be able to hold the bottle up and still get juice and I never thought of using those thank you so much I'll try them and that's what I'm trying to do let her cry it out because my daughter is getting to the point where she thinks if she keeps crying about it she'll get what she wants and that's what I don't want

Those people you live with have also go to understand that your child is still learning and they need to get over it. You are going to have to bite the bullet and let her cry it out, when you just rush in and “solve” the problem for her or have people flipping out around her, that all makes the situation worse. If everyone chills and gives her a while, she should be able to learn how to calm herself down. Sounds harsh and will be hard but it’s a quick lesson and very good for kids to learn.

Oh my goodness! You have got to be careful! Your daughter could get some really bad teeth problems from the juice and eventually the bottle!

@nerualauren, she does usually get milk but she tends to get really really bad congestion which is the case right now and milk makes the mucus worse

That’s sucks your in that position. My bf’s brother moved in when my baby was like 2 weeks old. He knew he moved in with a newborn, and my bf is like can u have some consideration for other people when they are trying to sleep at night. I was like wtf no, does anyone have any consideration for me and take the baby off of my hands for a minute? F that!!!!!!! They know the situation, I would let hem just have to deal with it because if u keep giving ur daughter juice at night they’re going to have to deal with it another way. When my son was around the same age, I gave him warm chocolate milk. He would drink it before bed and sleep all night. I don’t want you to feel like I’m criticizing but juice gives little kids energy and probably why she is waking up crying at night, for some attention. Try some warm milk, maybe?
