It's bedtime for my baby. She's so sleepy.. had a nice big dinner! Green beans, rice cereal and a warm bottle of milk & oatmeal cereal. I love how she loves her dinners every night. We always make her something new, like sweet potatoes, green beans, bananas & apples. We mix that with warm rice cereal and water, and that's her first course. Then we finish her off with a warm bottle of milk with oatmeal cereal. She absolutely LOVES this routine. And usually passes out in her chair while she's eating. Tonight was a "rock me to sleep mommy" kind of night. While papa read his news.

Good night mommys out there ! Comment below with your nighttime feeding routine !! I'd love to know how you other moms put your littles to bed !!

@roguemommyofjx3, how old is your daughter ? I breastfed for 6-8 weeks but the last 2 weeks she breastfed I introduced formula because I wasn't producing enough. But she definitely eats a lot now but if holds her over for a while too tho.

Pedi recommends rice cereal for iron

Pedi recommends rice cereal for iron We went to the pedi today for dds check up (4 1/2 months)and the doctor said dd is very petite. (5th percentile for weight? Breastfed.) She recommended rice cereal to help her weight if we wanted to. I asked her if we could skip the rice cereal and go straight for a fruit or a veggie for the first food. I told her that i felt like rice cereal was empty calories. She looked at me like i was an idiot and said "yes but it has a lot of iron which she will need".
