I feel dumb what is a mucus plug. My water broke and that was it educate me please

Mine was actually the next day

I lost pieces of mine for about 2.5 weeks then went I went in for induction I lost it all. I'm not sure if it was due to the poticion or it just was by itself. I lost it about 2 mins after Pitocin started if even that and had him 7 hours later.

Two days after i lost mine i went into labor

Mine was a few hrs after, I was dialated at a 4 though

Idk if this applies to me, but I had been having mild inconsistent contractions and then my mucus plug fully came out and that's when the contractions started hurting. That was like an hour after my mucus plug came out.

I went into labor like a week later, but mine didn’t come out all at once, it was like bits and pieces 😩

I lost small pieces for weeks. The I lost a huge chunk with a tinge of blood in it and about 3hrs later my water broke and 6hrs after that I had my baby. This was for my 3rd baby tho. My first two were nothing like that
