PLEASE HELP! 😩😩😩Mom’s I need advice ASAP. My son has been stressing me the f*ck out lately. To the point where I envision myself hitting him. Of course I would NEVER EVER EVER!!!! But I don’t like feeling like that AT ALL. Ive asked my mom to watch him so I can get some time to myself but her response was “oh well deal with it” What should I do?? I feel trapped I haven’t gone out without my son since he was born!!!

Until things work out with a sitter I would suggest talking to other moms on here to release, putting yourself in positive situations, find humor and add it to your daily life. Laughter relieves so much stress. Sit your son somewhere safe and walk away during those moments. As always, if you feel depressed seek help before it worsens. We're all here pulling for you. ❤️

@aloha808, Oh yikes, yeah my husband said the same thing. He said I changed a lot & he was worried about me. I was worried about myself too. Yeah I was born 1995. I still feel like PPD isn’t talked about enough. I think a lot of moms feel ashamed for it, I know I did.. :/ but its common and shouldn’t make anyone feel ashamed. No one is perfect.

@sarasmilesatyou, I agree too I wish I did too take it earlier with my last pregnancies and since knowingly after the birth of my third I realize maybe I should try it. My other half told me I was a total different person when we got home from the hospital. But after that I had mirena put in and that caused my mood swings bad, so much side affects I took it out. I think I’m older than you are lol but back in the early 2000 postpartum wasn’t talked about a lot. I talked to my midwife after my second one and she told me to check myself into the hospital 🤷🏻‍♀️nowadays they do a two week check after birth to see how the mom is doing.

@aloha808, Yeah it took me awhile, but I finally decided that maybe it’d be best if I tried it. I’m glad I did. I kinda wish I tried it sooner, because I was always feeling so tired and crazy. They started me at 25 mg for Zoloft and when I asked them to up my dosage it changed to 50 mg. But I regret upping it. I liked how I felt with just 25 mg.

@sarasmilesatyou, I was too against medication but I found out there’s no shame in it because we as mom need to take care of us before we take care of our babies. After this birth I’m going back on it most def! I was on 10 mg Zoloft what dosage are you on now?

sarasmilesatyou

Sara

@aloha808, Oh yeah, I felt like I could feel even better if I upped my dosage. I was wrong. A higher dosage is making me feel strange and not myself. I think the low dosage is helpful and you still feel like you. I’m going to tell my doctor I want to go back to the low dosage. I was against medication at first, but it really helps a lot!

@sarasmilesatyou, I did too even if it was a small dosage since I was breastfeeding it helped a lot!!

Maybe you should look into taking Postpartum medication. That’s what I did.

Put him in a safe place in your home like a crib? Or a pack and playpen if you have one and just walk away for a min and breath. Some times you just need to breath.

Have you thought about going on a site like sittercare to find someone that could keep him just for a couple of hours just for you to get away for a little?

@briannahill1293, I was getting overwhelmed often and fatigue certainly makes things worse. I found out that I was suffering with postpartum depression. I was put on meds and things turned around so quickly. If you think that might be it, talking to someone might be worth it ☺️

@dbarton041, yes everyday!!!!!!! I have like a ton of emotions going through. I don’t like the fact that I’m imagining myself harming my child.

Agree with @roguemommyofjx3 and @worlds.okayest.mom, If you have someone else to watch him for a bit, breaks are important. Are you feeling overwhelmed often?

Do you have anyone else you trust with him? I only been out once alone since my daughters birth and it was only an hour.

Creeped out! A new guy at work just tickled the back of my neck! I cringed and told him "Don't ever touch me, that weirds me out!" On Monday he pulled my braid as I was grabbing parts for him, I also told him don't ever do that. Ugh. I don't feel comfortable working with him EVER! A coworker told me that when she walked past he said "what's cooking good looking". I feel he doesn't deserve to work here. I can't feel like I'm going to be harassed at work. Like who does that?? I'm so creeped out and grossed out. Ugh. What would you do in this situation? I've reported this to my manager.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Will your Mom be in the delivery room?

Will your Mom be in the delivery room? My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.
