Hey moms, just need a little reassurance about feeding my baby. She eats every 2 1/2 to 3 hours during the day but I usually have to wake her from sleeping. Is this recommended? Should I wait u till she wakes herself and fusses? I usually wake her by first changing her diaper and then she is fussy/hungry. After feeding she is alert and awake until she falls back to sleep. Anyways, do any of you wake baby to eat or do you wait until baby wakes on their own?

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

And it's probably just a phase for her...she will probably start waking more at night so feeding every two hours during the day will help her be less hungry at night and it helps prevent from over feeding her! Which is very common now so she should really be eating 2 ounces every two hours. My son is almost 7 months and just started drinking 5 ounces which sometimes he doesn't finish.
