My husband has been trying to get me to like venison and I’m trying but not quite there lol we have about 250 pounds of deer and elk in the freezer so I better learn to like it

@boymamachronicles I cook it like i would beef. We don't eat beef anymore because to us deer is so much better. Leaner, healthier tasting it's over all delicious. I'd cook it low and slow in spaghetti sauce if you want that cause it makes it so much better. I season mine well incase of the "gamey " taste

@royal1184 she also brought me deer jerky sticks which was amazingggg! is it cooked the same? I'm thinking to make some tacos with it lol

is deer meat cooked like ground beef? taste similiar? I have a lb in my freezer my friend got me when she went hunting and idk what to do with it. I don't wanna mess it up 😣
