Anyone ever been induce?? Does it hurt?? What was it like?

All 3 times.. First two no pain medication. This last one..... When I got 8-9 I cried for an epidural after being in pitocin for 12 hours...

I wasn't supposed to be induced but my labor went over 60 hours so they gave me pitocin. I attempted to get the epidural but it didn't work so I had a natural labor but I didn't have any real pain just pressure

@myboys1962 first time w| my son, 5 years ago. Long painful process. I was just induced on the 16th of January. They gave me Cervadil ((which dilate your cervix in 12 hours) well it started labor for me. It was placed at 530 pm, my contractions started coming between 2-5 minutes and getting more intense. I got the epidural around 10pm. They gave me Pitocin about midnight and I was fully dilated at about 140am. I delivered at 210am ((that extra time was spent waiting on the doctor & my nausea medicine to kick in cause I was about to barf everywhere 😂😂

I've been induced TWICE

Good luck I spent 3 days getting induced and the pain meds I was given in my iv had me so drugged

It's just a long process

Mine both hurt like hell but i made it through without pain meds. I hear it's harder then labor coming on its own, with my 1st I had the epidural so I really have no clue how less painful it is without the induction.. I don't see it being much worse, labor is labor Right? You will be alright, stay strong, baby will be here soon I'm sure your excited ! Good luck !

I been induced with my son. You'll get a epidural, its like forcing on labor. It is harder, well it was for me.

And it took 6 hrs. Ughhh almost had a emergency c section with him.

Yeah it starts out alright but at some point you may want to consider some pain relief, it's not terrible but it's definitely not pleasant but neither is regular labor either.

I was. Mine didn't hurt at first then they really bumped my pitocin up and all of a sudden I was tapping out for the epidural

It doesnt hurt if you have an epidural. It does if you dont. it is forced labor so it is a lot harder than natural labor
