What is everyone’s opinions on little boys (toddler age) playing dress up with princess dresses?? We have recently brought out my 5 year old daughters princess dresses and everyone is super excited about trying them on! I send pics to all the parents and I have one set of parents (with 19 month old boy) who never say anything back....I can’t help but feel like they don’t like this! Here’s a pic of my little guy

My son always used to dress up in dresses for his little sisters 😊 he doesn't now that he's a bit older, but he has fond memories of doing it and making them happy by playing with them 😊 I think kids should just be allowed to be kids, without judgement

Ya I’m all for it and don’t think there’s anything wrong with it but I just wanted to get everyone else’s opinions so I’m not upsetting my clients!! @ginelleclift,

Who cares what anyone thinks. As an recent know that dramatic play creates creative and complex thinkers. I have taught a preschool class for the majority of my professional career (ages 2.5-4.5) all children, boys and girls experiment with various types of costumes and clothing. Most people are uneducated about child development. Dressing up in a dress won't make your child lean a certain way in their sexuality. They are born the way that they are born.

It does not matter what he wears/ plays with! Boys can like ‘girl’ things. Stand with and love him no matter what.

I played with hot wheels and my uncle a year older than me played dolls with me. No big deal

He's a child. He's playing. It doesn't mean anything. I had a cousin that used to want to paint his naols because all the girls were. So he got to. It's just for fun. And if he grows up and he's gay it's not because of this moment. It's jusy who he is and that's okay♡

It's your child you can do what you like. He seems happy to be trying on his sisters dress.

I personally wouldn't put my son in a girls dress and maybe the parent of the 19 month old wouldn't either. Not everyone is going to agree with everything you or we do as a parent or as a human being either.

Who knows maybe she will respond later.

Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?
