@vanessa81.vr I don't know much about gestational diabetes.
@vanessa81.vr swelling is a natural part of pregnancy, and if your BP is normal and no protein you're good as of now. It can always develop later as you get closer to your due date.
@halifax6, i wasnt sure if maybe it was just something to do with my gestational diabetes
@shaniemartin20 you can always call the advice line for your Dr and they could tell you if you should go to labor and delivery for answers, rather than waiting for your apt in the 8th.
@halifax6, yea they check my urine everytime i go to the doctors so far im fine. My last check up was monday, but today my face, hands and feet swelled up alot everyone noticed it and i couldnt put any shoes on, i had to go buy bigger shoes
@shaniemartin20 I suggest calling your Dr and expressing your concerns. They can check your BP and you will probably have to do a 24 hr urine test, but they can tell you if you have it.
@halifax6, no I haven’t had it tested yet but I can’t take this pain and always feeling dizzy and light headed sometimes my vision is blurred
No she didn’t but I have an appointment on the 8th and I’m going to be talking to her how I’ve been feeling @halifax6,
@shaniemartin20 what is your BP like at the Dr? Have your urine been tested for protein? Swelling is normal in pregnancy, too, so that's not a direct indication of preeclampsia
@halifax6, I have most of that I can barley sleep at night my hands are always swelling and feet and legs it sucks ! I feel dizzy a lot as well
@shaniemartin20, i really don’t know i just know my friend she has it. It got to do with her having high blood pressure and it must be bad because her doctor put her on bed rest so she and her baby can be safe.
It's a combination of high blood pressure and protein in your urine. Sever preeclampsia has symptoms, headache that doesn't go away with tylenol, blurry vision or vision changes, sharp intense pain in upper right quadrant of belly, extreme swelling of hands, feet and face.
What pacifically is that? I think I might have it and I’m 21 weeks @chanelmior, @halifax6,
My friend she got it her doctor said because of her blood pressure something like that and gave her bed rest because it’s very dangerous that’s what she told us.
I had it with my first pregnancy
