Three days before I gave birth lol
@truebluemama_ oh wow that's a lot. Good for you!! I wish my job was like that. Nothing carries over into the new year. We are required to use it basically right away.
@jleona, yes. I have 160 hours of earned time/vacation/sick etc that will give me a couple more pay checks on top of my fmla and taxes. This is my last pregnancy so I want to give myself time to prepare our house(nest) and spend some time with my kids and husband before we're trapped in the house with out wolf pack lol..
@truebluemama_ did you decide that you're going to stop at 34 weeks?
@lizyetter_1991 did you decide the date you stopped working?
I wasn't working with my first, second I was put on bed rest at 32 weeks, this time I'm taking leave at 34 weeks.
My last day of work was July 24 2016 and had my daughter August 02 2016. I was borderline preeclampsia and plus my feet were so swollen I couldn’t wear my work shoes anymore.
Worked a full day on Friday and went into labor that Sunday.
I stopped three weeks before my due date
I didn't stop until I went into labor
@jleona, that's the beauty of having a union job! They do make us use it by a certain time of the year or we lose half of it but I'll be using it way before that time comes. Unfortunately I'm going back per diem after my leave is up and working my way back to full time once my little one reaches kindergarten and will lose a lot of benefits...😔
