When do babies start sleeping through the night. My son is 2 months and still wakes to feed at least 2x...
@dbarton041 7pm...😂😂 hes fully awake and bushy tail. Even when I tried to put him down by 9ish he would still wake up and not go back to sleep till 12. And for him being only 2 months...during the day he barely naps...it occurs at intervals of 10mins to 30mins...He never really takes hour(s) naps during the day
Good luck we did the whole nighttime routine with both kids and they didn’t start till six months
@the_yellaone, oh okay. I was putting my son to bed at 7 pm and would nurse him for 20-40 minutes at a time.
@mommysbabies 🤞hopefully we make it b4 then. He's been on a nighttime routine since he came home but still wakes thru the nighy
@ace160 I really don't have a problem with it but it gets to the point sometime where he thinks it's playtime and won't fall back asleep
@dbarton041 well he usually goes to sleep around 12-2...then it's 4ish he wakes.. then 6-8ish..he's a big boy so his 6oz is very fulfilling
I hate to say it but I wouldn’t get your hopes up. I did because everyone told me that it happened pretty early and boy, they were so wrong. My son is 10 months and JUST started to sleep through the night about two weeks ago. There are a bunch of sleep regressions that will throw things off too. Also: only waking up twice is pretty amazing for 2 months. My son woke up every 90 minutes - 2 hours for forever
Everyone is different but 2 months is still young and there still growing a lot which means eating a lot but I know some babies that sleep Thur the night at a very young age just depends
My first son didn’t sleep Thur the night till he was 13 months
@the_yellaone, I get that trust me to routine is key.. but even than it’s doesn’t always work.. my oldest was on a strict schedule and and he still wouldn’t sleep longer than two hours at a time at 13 months my doctor told me he needed to cry it out because he was still getting up every 2 hours and my husband made me let him cry it out and we had to that for two days and he has been sleeping Thur the night since if he wakes up at night time just make sure you keep lights off and whisper and don’t make a lot of noise if he is in a crib just feed him and put him back in there if he is going to play he is going to play eventually he will fall back asleep obviously I wouldn’t leave him alone I would have a monitor on him so you can see him but if he gets use to putting himself back to sleep it will help a lot to
