Anyone delay clamping and the bath??
@taylorsmommy1017 i know why to do it i was just looking for the amount of time. Thank you! And I'll ask my doctor what she also recommends
@taylorsmommy1017, I’m getting my tubes tide the day after but I’m hoping I can talk him into doing the night I have her
@motherof3nigerianprincesses, with my other girls I stayed 2 days but i choice to with Mia. But if everything goes as planned, I’ll have her and go home the next night
@girlmom. I know they said at the hospital it's 2 days postpartum. So im wondering is that like 3 days or just 2 daya
@motherof3nigerianprincesses, I really hope I only have to stay for 1 day so I can bring her home to bath her
@girlmom. The longer both is better and it says it helps with breastfeeding
@girlmom. I might do the bath 24 hours later but at night time like right before bed or something. So she can be all nice and clean and smell like her stuff or the morning we leave so that we can put her in her going home clothes.
@girlmom. It says about like 3 minutes. So i think the longer the better.
@motherof3nigerianprincesses, I picked 2 hours cause by that time my epidural will have worn off.
And the bath cause I wanna bath her with Marcus and rub all that good stuff into her skin ☺️
Im going tp research some decent times to delay. @girlmom. But that sounds like a good amount of time. And maybe after the day I'll be well enough to do it.
Delayed clamping for about an hour and she didn't get a bath at all for about 3 days
@motherof3nigerianprincesses, yupp, but if everything is going great, there’s no reason the stay that extra day.
