Basically my partner is ready to have another baby already but I am not.
If anyone followed my pregnancy I was worried the whole way as I had a miscarriage in 2016 and was worried with slight pain was in hospital for dehydration twice, really bad morning sickness to the point I didn't put on any weight till I was 18 weeks pregnant. Also constantly in hospital for high blood pressure had preaclamsia (don't know how spell it) had to be cut and stitch up then 2 weeks after birth rushed into hospital for infection in my uterus and having to gave a camera in my back passage as I still can't go proper...
So can anyone understand why I don't want another baby yet

Understandable hun! But some men are blind to these things as they arent the ones going through it all. Its all fine and dandy for them..they just release sperm...fertilize the egg and thats their job done. We have to go through all the changes... aches ...pains etc. Xxx

Thanks everyone I'm glad I'm not selfish I just don't think he realises how much hard work pregnancy labour and a baby is cos he works and come home sleeps and see daisy for abit it's me always looking after her and I'm not ready to look after too babies I salute everyone who have children so close together because it hard looking after 1 and I'm just enjoying daisy may so much at the min I'm ready to have another one yet xxxxx

@chloemcmahon96 hopefully he understands just say you would love one but when she's a little older. It hurts their feelings when u turn them down but that's lovely he wants more! And your right much different when your the one looking after them xxx

Totally but I think around your baby’s age we got really broody but had to stop ourselves. Your obviously traumatised and rightly so. Tell him to calm down and to enjoy your baby for the moment

Your baby is 4months... Who carries baby, gives birth to baby & most likely does 99% of night feeds & daily routine with baby? Unless that's him he can wait until your ready.

your not being selfish at all, my husbands the same wanting another straight away. I had a difficult and worrying pregnancy and I didn't want to get pregnant too soon, so I sat and explained this to him. Plus it won't be fair on my first one as I would be too sick and in pain to care for him.
