I went to my doctor at 38 weeks for my regular weekly appointment. I told him how uncomfortable I was, and he asked if I wanted to have the baby today and I said yes. He did a stretch and sweep, told me to leave and have dinner, and then walk around a lot. I was in labor within the hour.

@kiyalovingmines, they basically move your bag of water around and stretch you open.

Unfortunately, mines didn't work ((much)). I got them swept at 39wk 3days and had some on & off contractions and bloody discharge. I then lost a huge chuck of my plug the next day...They tried sweeping them again the next week ((I was already overdue by 3days)), but said the process was already started 😒 lol I got induced THAT night at 530. Had baby girl the next morning at 2:10am
