Has any mom's given birth in a birthing center rather than a hospital, if so I would like to know EVERYTHING ! I'm a second time mom and have my meet and greet with a birth center in my neighborhood and just would like to know what to expect through this process .
@katyejordyn am I and baby required to still visit a hospital after the birth ? We're the able to help with managing the pain? Crap so many questions . Sorry have pregnancy brain n everything I was think to ask has left my thought cycle .
@dom.mom.of.2, No, you do not have to go to a hospital after birth. After my girl was born, we were home within 6 hours! After giving birth, they kept me to make sure I was okay and baby was eating and such and then we were off! The pain was intense, I’m not going to lie. Opting out of the epidural is a big decision, but I’m glad I did. I labored in the pool and in the shower and walked the halls and so many other things. My midwives were insanely helpful, as was my boyfriend. My Birthing Center was like a little home where I had my own room and everything was dark and calm with candles and music. I can’t imagine being in labor under bright lights in a hospital bed 🙈
