Any women with a nipple growth, able to breast feed using one breast and/or a breast bump, of course? I have a nipple deformity, my left breast. This is my second pregnancy, my breasts did produce milk and leak like Crazy with my first. I’m seeing my lactation consultant on the 28th but figured I’d ask to see if anyone here had any experience with it. I’d let be to breast feed this time.

I have no experience with this.... but maybe it won't affect you feeding or you will be able to feed on one side and pump on the breast with the growth. Hopefully the LC will be able to help you out and you might have to see one a few times after baby is here. Good luck mama! @mamabearof2

@mamabearof2, breastfeeding from one breast is definitely doable. Feed from one and pump the other perhaps? Would you able to use a nipple shield to aid you in breastfeeding?

@neon.love, a nipple Shield sadly isn’t an option. But I can pump from it! I plan to have surgery once I’m no longer breast feeding. They feel it’s not necessary right now and with my breasts getting bigger brought the pregnancy it wouldn’t be a good idea. I’m super excited to go through the journey! I’m so stoked to breast feed 😊
