No ma'am. I'm a chubby girl and I'm going for my 3rd c section in March. It's the same things as everything. You just need to clean it and let it air dry when you are home. If you go somewhere cover it. It's like any incision just keep it clean and it won't get infected. As for the pain it really matters how you tolerate pain. I have a high tolerance for pain so it isn't too bad for me. The Dr does give you painkillers so that helps, jusy make sure you take them as directed. If you're getting a c section I recommend wear the belly band the hospital provides if you can't buy one yourself and get someone to help you tighten it, wear loose clothing, and try to walk as much as you can cause that helps the healing process quicker even if it hurts a lot in the beginning. (Like the moemnt you get sensation on your legs)
