Ladies, has anyone had a difficult removal of the Mirena IUD? Did anyone experience their IUD embedding into cervix? Or needed any anesthestic, or surgery to get it removed?
I need to have mine removed because one arm of the IUD is possibly embedded into cervix. Does this mean sugary? Does it hurt? Does getting the anesthesia hurt?
Please share your experience, because I'm really nervous, and scared & I'm a huge baby when it comes to needles, or pain LoL. I just need advice so I be prepared for what's coming .

IUD got dislodged and is now stuck in my cervix. Waiting to see if the er can get it removed!

Aww I’m so sorry to hear 😔 Sounds painful!! I was interested in the iud recently, I kinda wanted to switch to it to try it out but I’m afraid of any of those things happening to me so I didn’t go through. I am on the pill, have been on it for almost 4 years so that’s why I’ve been wanting to change. I hope you find some answers 🙏 I’m sorry I wasn’t much help..
