so im planning on getting on birth control MIRENA IUD , do any of you moms have it how does it feel? Does it hurt? Do you have any problems w periods? Hormones?

@marivmunoz, no the Mirena has hormones and paragrad is non hormonal it is made out of copper.
I have paragrad and it hurt getting put in. It make you have light contractions when they insert it. But after they are done you just feel a little discomfort but goes away after a few hours.

I currently have paraguard and have had mirena in the past, I like it, it doesn't have any hormones, my periods are a little heavier, it only hurt when the doctor put it in, it's been a year and I haven't had any issues.
I got the copper iud and I haven’t had a period but I’m breastfeeding and no other issues it’s non hormonal and I don’t feel anything and it was only a pinch when I got it in
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

I liked the mirena! After a few months I had no period at all it was so nice and not crazy hormonal stuff either but I got it removed so we can try for #2
