Noah has this horrendous cough where he coughs so hard and so much that he starts sneezing and gagging. All I have to give him is his inhaler and cough and cold medicine( I have the okay to give that to him) it doesn’t seem to be working much for him what’s something else I can give him solely for his cough? 😔😔

@smilies11, he’s 13 months he can have honey in something like that just not straight honey because it’s so thick. He has a dr appointment tomorrow and his cough is wet and he coughs so hard that he gags. He had bronchitis when he was 10 months old and has needed the inhaler on occasion every since and since my dad has asthma and the medicine they take helps with a cough they do medicine together. He was coughing so bad at 230 this morning that he woke up and I had to stumble down stairs to find his inhaler 😭
Wait how old is he ? If he's too small don't use honey but u can still use ginger and lemon
Take him into the bathroom turn on the water make it stemming sit with him it will work or use a cool humidifier did u take him to the doctor is his cough like a bark cough ? He might have croup his inhaler will work use it how the doctor told u my doctor also told me to make him ginger tea with honey and a little bit of lemon it works wonders it helps with flems and with his cold he has
Use baby Vicks on his feet not chest...it can actually make it worse on their chest
Humidifier and let it run it's course is all you can do and if the cold and cough medicine isn't working maybe stop using it. I've just have heard horrible things about it with babies

This is my son Walter. Today is his birthday. He would have been five. This picture was taken when he was 16 days old. He was my first child and my only son (I now have 3 girls). He passed away the next day after this picture from congenital heart failure. It was a miracle that he lived passed 12 weeks gestation because of how severe his heart defects were.
