Just a rant and ill try to keep it short.
Where I live, I live for free bc i grew up in foster care. I get $320 a month to spend on groceries and a $45 phone card that I'm required to buy by my social worker. My boyfriend who iant suppose to live with me does. But he doesnt help me buy groceries, cleaning supplies ext. Sometimes he will buy toilet paper. He has a full time job and makes 4x what I make in a month. Is it just me or should he be helping me buy groceries? Hes only bought them twice in the past 7 months only apending a total of about $175 both times combined. If that. Idk if its my hormones or the fact we've faught all day but I just cant get over it.

@beccaaalynnn11 that's crazy lol. I always make lists and get like 150-180 worth of food each time i go which is usually twice a month. But this month has been really hard bc be hasnt been able to work due to the weather so we ate more then we usually do
- Hell no I don’t 😅 No patience for that.. But I do sometimes go to Brookshire’s if they have bogo deals.. my main focus is dinner, money wise. Breakfast is simple; cereal, bagel and spread, fruit and oatmeal. Lunch for him is usually some of whatever was dinner the night before. And dinner varies from crockpot stews to steak and veggies..
Yeah I’d tell him that he needs to contribute or he can go pay rent somewhere.. I can’t stand when people are stingy with money ..
@southernbelle3264 girl lol that's what a savings account is for. I would just straight up tell him he needs to contribute.

@jleona thats how i feel but ive never asked him to pay for anything or buy anything. Our kitchen is empty. All we have is a box of pancake mix and a few cans of veggies & all he bought was $24 worth of groceries when he got paid on Thursday.

@twistedrenots nothing. Which like I said I dont have to pay any bills or rent bc of my situation. But still $320 is not enough to feed two people for a whole month.
He should be contributing to everything that costs you any money. Seeing as tho you live rent free, he wouldn't have that luxury if it wasn't YOU. He should be putting money out for anything you are required to pay for in the house.
If he lives there, yes. That seems like a given. He doesn't pay for anything at all?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
I broke down at my moms house today ... because of the debt we owe and Passover is coming and it’s a very expensive holiday ... it was just way too much .... my mom i guess told my brother that I’m suffering and he called me over and asked me why i didn’t just ask for help, and offered to help when i need it . And gave me basically 4K to help for the month and if i need more to ask ... now one thing about me , is that i will suffer silently and won’t ask for help.... I’ve always been that way. ...

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

Rant
My SO has been rude a lot ever since I've gotten pregnant...he said he doesn't care about my pregnancy, he doesn't even take one day off from work just ONE to come to at least one ultra sound appointment. I mean he's always making sure I'm fed, he lets use the heating pad, and even apologized to saying he doesn't care. He can mess with me all day but when I want to join and play around he gives me an attitude. He just makes me feel like s*** at times. He's a great fiancé don't get me wro...
Hmm if he ain't helping u in your house not really buying groceries only twice or buy house supplies he shouldn't be living with you he eat your food use your lights in gas use your tissue but don't want to put in & he work oh no I can do bad all by myself you shouldn't even have to tell him real man do that for their woman & pay bills to it's 50/50
