Is it normal to feel like you haven't completely bonded with your newborn? Idk, I feel like it's taking me longer to "get to know" my son than it did with my daughter.

@jmilanes3 it definitely wads not instant. I hate to compare because I know each child is different, but with my daughter it took about a couple of days. I didn't know I was pregnant with my son until I was about 4 months... with my daughter, I knew almost instantly. I had more time to get used to the idea of being someone's mom. Perhaps that's why?

Will your Mom be in the delivery room? My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.

It took me awhile with my second child. I felt horrible too because it wasn't an instant bond. I love all my kids the same but the 2nd time around it took me awhile. I didn't think I could love another person as much as I loved my first child. I did. Still do. Just took a bit to get through the change of having 2 kids.
