when do babies start sleeping through the night typically? i know Karter is only 2 weeks but i need some sleep to hopefully look forward to lol
@kartersmommyy, if he wants to run away from responsibilities or if your parents or his are being used an an excuse or ARE the excuse...no matter what the situation, he has a fucking kid he needs to take care of. The main one suffering in all of this is your child. A happy mama=happy baby and vice versa. Try to keep him awake during the day, take him out on a short walk...start tummy time(you can btw) being a FTM is hard when you’re doing it all alone, if you need anything , inbox me
@queenmee, i wish he would but it’s always something.. we’re just in a really bad situation rn so i basically feel like a single mother 😩 thank you though! i’ve gotten good at being able to eat/shower/etc while he’s asleep or even awake, it’s just at night time it seems like things get worse! he sleeps less at night right now so i guess i just have to force myself to nap during the day when he takes his 3 hour naps instead of at night where he only sleeps and hour and a half at a time! i know things will get better soon but omg they’re so hard right now lol
@kartersmommyy, I’m sure during his long days, he can take a few hours of his time to dedicate only to you guys? Like, make up for the fact he has nothing to do with night time anything ? Lol I’m sorry mama, i wish I could help...
I have a few regulars at work with little babies and when I’m on my lunch, they pretty much throw their kid at me so they can eat in peace. One was a micro premie so he’s still really tiny at 9 months old but I love helping where I can..
@queenmee, unfortunately he can’t be here w/ me at night so i have to do this by myself 😩😞 as exhausting as it is! but thanks girl! i’m trying lol
Mine was around two months, but he was always a good sleeper. So it really depends on the child, but like someone suggested, sleep training at an age appropriate time. But he’s still really little, so just try and sleep when you can! Easier said than done, I know.
2-4 months depends on the baby. My son still wakes up several times a night but not every night only sometimes. It's all so exhausting !
Mine started around 2 1/2 months. But now he’s stopped again. It’s rough not sleeping all night. But it’s worth it.
DO NOT put cereal in his bottle at 4 months to “help him sleep” ITS A MYTH
He doesn’t need that. You can start “sleep training” at an age appropriate time. But mama, welcome to parenthood. Tell your man to step up to the plate and be a more active pair of hands to help raise his child. He laid with you, he sure as hell can help you raise your baby.
No one said being a mom would be easy, you can do it mama!!
It jus various on the child. My son slept through the night from bday one even though it scared me at first. I kept checking on him. My daughter has her nights where u dnt no if she gone sleep all night r night. Good luck hope it gets better soon
Mine just slept through the night for the first time last night but not tonight :/ he’s almost 9 months. My first was sleeping through every night by 5 months so it can really vary by baby.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
I see so many mommies giving their babies rice cereal to sleep even though it's not recommended? Why?
I feel like I'll never sleep normally again
Whyyyyyy can I not sleep anymore? I want a few days of sleep before I have this baby! 😔
I can't sleep & im bored so i wonder *how you knew you were pregnant?* ☺️
my little girl slept a week after i brought her home but my mom said i didnt sleep til 2 months
