Why must my parents be the way they are i have begun to like a guy that i work with thats a different race and he likes me to i mean he makes me happy every time i see him not even about his looks his personality is really great he is very caring and of course i am being told i will lose my parents if i date him sick of the way older people were raised sorry just had to vent

As long as your happy that's all that matters but they will learn to accept him once they get to know him. Or at least that's how it went with my husband my mother didn't approve us and when I told her I was pregnant it just got worse so I made them set down and get to know each other and it worked out just gr8 now we have been married for 5 years and my family love him

Question. I just left my husband for cheating and now hes been harassing me. Hes threatening to come get our son. I dont care if he sees his son but I'm not comfortable with him leaving with him bc hes never taken care of him a day In his life and he might use him against me. Am I wrong for feeling this way??

so my boyfriend and I live with his parents with out almost 2 week old son... his parents and his mom always want to hold him like all day everyday and get mad when I take him upstairs in our room... I'm not breast feeding... my question is with me not breastfeeding and his mom constantly holding him will he know I'm his mom? that's my biggest fear... my son not knowing who I am and thinking she's his mom.
Am I wrong to be upset? Last night I was running a fever, weak, tired, sore, my left boob feels like it got used as a punching bag. I asked my husband to call out of work today to help me with the kid so I could get some rest. He went to work. I texted him this morning. Part of me thinks I mean. The other part of me thinks I was fine for saying that because he should've stayed home with us.
I'm telling you it does take time people get stuck in there ways but it is possible to change there ways it just takes time and don't feed into then they will see your happy
